Bus services in the Goring Gap are nowhere near as good as the trains.

Thames Travel service 134 runs 9 times a day on weekdays between Goring & Streatley railway station and Wallingford Market Place .
There is no service on Saturday or Sunday.
There is a Tuesdays-only (yes, one bus per week) service from Reading to Goring & Streatley Railway Station, serving Pangbourne and Crays Pond en route. It takes 55 minutes from Reading to Goring, compared to less than 15 minutes by train.
Reading Buses’ Azure 43 runs from Reading to Upper Basildon via Pangbourne, Monday to Saturday. There are 5 buses a day, with an extra service on weekdays, extended to serve Goring and Langtree School.
Thames Travel’s X40 River Rapids service runs from Oxford to Reading, mostly along the A4174, but also including Wallingford and Woodcote. Buses run every half hour, 7 days a week.
